Bert Kaempfert discography

A complete discography of Bert Kaempfert's "original" albums is a bit complex because certain recordings were only released on Polydor (Germany) while others were only available on Decca/MCA (USA). Further complicating matters is that rare singles and previously unissued recordings have appeared as bonus tracks on CDs.

Using The complete Discographie (see the About this site page), I'm creating a full discography of "original" albums based on Polydor (German) releases that will also include Decca/MCA releases unique to the USA.

• Original albums (track details complete; adding notes and other information) - May 2, 2013
  • The Bert Kaempfert Collection  - a 16 CD series of "original" albums released in the early 1990s (still adding liner notes)
  • The Good Life Music series - a 16 CD series of original Polydor albums with some previously unissued bonus material.
  • Taragon Records - CD reissues of USA Decca versions of albums with some rare bonus tracks. (still adding liner notes)
  • Polydor digipak reissues (all in print, coming soon)
• Rare singles and recordings not released on Lp. (additions May 16, 2013)
• Bert Kaempfert Orchestra (re-recordings and live performances). Started work May 27, lots more to do
• Compilation CDs as of June 2, still many more to add.
• Tribute albums by other artists (Paul Kuhn,Helen Schneider et al. - work begun June 1)
